We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites and residential projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills and knowledge in the electrical trade. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Work alongside experienced electricians to learn proper techniques and safety protocols.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and instruction manuals.
• Support high voltage and low voltage electrical work as required.
• Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters.
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work performed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites, work areas.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Skills

• Previous experience as an residential, industrial, commercial electrician is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles, including high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Ability to read instruction manuals and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
