On July 18th, the BBIA Women in Construction group concluded our 2024 summer sessions, where we had the chance to work with the fabulous young ladies of Girls Inc. of Bay County! 

During this session, a presentation was given by Trisha Seelbinder from Propwic Construction LLC along with Daniela Becerra from Tradesmen Electric. They discussed opportunities for women in construction and shared their personal stories of how they entered the field. 

Then, the girls learned how to use tools and teamwork to complete their very first Girls Inc Build, with the collaboration and help of the ladies from Propwic Construction—Vickie Patterson and Trisha Seelbinder—and Daniela Becerra from Tradesmen Electric! 

We can’t wait for next summer to design and build together again! We are so very grateful to all of our mentors for all of their time and dedication to these amazing young women!
