BBIA at the 5th Annual Northwest Florida Construction Career Days!

Over 1,300 high school students from across Northwest Florida gathered at the Santa Rosa County Fairgrounds in Milton for a hands-on introduction to the construction and transportation industries.

The event gave students the chance to operate heavy equipment, explore careers in construction, and connect with industry professionals.

Representing BBIA, President Curt Hartog of Pathway Builders and Education & Workforce Chair Josh Shaw of Horsley Construction Group served as chaperones, guiding excited students throughout the event!

This initiative, supported by the Florida Department of Transportation and industry partners, is helping build a strong workforce pipeline as we look ahead to billions in planned construction activity over the next decade.
