BBIA April Lunch & Learn Recap
We were honored to welcome our keynote speaker Jim Tobin, CEO of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Jim shared information on national industry trends, advocacy, and the critical work NAHB is doing to protect and promote homebuilding across the country. He also reminded us of the value behind our 3-in-1 membership—local, state, and national—working together to protect and grow our industry.
Big thanks to our event sponsors, EPCI Code Administration Services and Innovations Financial Credit Union—your continued support makes these impactful gatherings possible!
A big thank you to BBIA Board Member and FHBA Immediate Past President Garrett Anderson with Anderson Construction for helping us understand his role as NAHB State Representative and for the warm introduction of Jim Tobin. We appreciate your leadership and continued service to our association at every level!
We also highlighted BBIA Board Member Brian Knox with Coastal Classic Homes for his leadership on our 2025 Scholarship Home and his work in Government Affairs. Brian shared important updates on local and state issues affecting our industry and the actions BBIA & FHBA is taking to address them.
A round of applause for Curt Hartog with Pathway Builders and our BBIA President who won the 50/50 raffle and generously donated it back to support our BBIA Professional Women in Building Council—thank you, Curt!
Door prize alert! Huge shoutout to EPCI and Innovations for bringing the fun with some amazing giveaways—congrats to all our lucky winners!
A big shoutout to Marty Perrett with Innovations Financial Credit Union and BBIA Immediate Past President for leading another smooth and impactful meeting—thank you, Marty!
We were thrilled to welcome new members, first-time attendees, and celebrate our outstanding BBIA community.
Thank you to Brigette, Shannon & Aaron from SmartBank for greeting and checking everyone in!
And of course, Angel’s BBQ came through with another delicious meal, and Chelsea at Capt. Anderson’s Event Center kept everything running seamlessly—thank you both!
