Presented by Kimberly Scott, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA), this informative session will explain nonprofit board service in practical, easy-to-understand terms and provide valuable insight for anyone interested in becoming more involved in their association.

Whether you're a current volunteer, committee member, board member, or simply curious about future leadership opportunities, this session is designed to help you better understand what board service entails and why strong volunteer leadership is essential to organizations like BBIA.

Following the presentation, BBIA members will have the opportunity to learn more about upcoming leadership opportunities, including committee service, the BBIA Board of Directors, and the soon-to-be-established BBIA Foundation Board.

We encourage every member—not just current or prospective board members—to attend. Understanding how your association operates makes every member stronger.
